Here is my cherished Monster Landy It is with massive reluctance that I am offering this truck for sale, and only due to health reasons otherwise it would not be here on Ebay. I have been a keen Land Rover fan for years and had quite a few to be honest, but this one was built by a friend of mine, who is a complete LR nut, at absolutely no expense spared.When he decided to part with it to create a new project, we had to have it......It has never yet been used in any anger off road......only a few pay days and trips Laneing in France etc This truck has been admired and is still a show stopper everywhere I go...It has been built to create a top class capable competition off roader, but with the luxury of being able to use every day... A quick rundown of truck rebuild. 200 BHP TD5 Defender 90 with very low mileage only 33500. The truck has had a full rebuild using late 2006 parts. Rear tub. Bulkhead, dash & seat box. New TDCi bulge bonnet. Extreme rear corner arch brackets on rear tub. Extreme rear tub rock slider rails. Extreme rock slider door / sill rails . It' s had a full NAS internal & external roll cage with front and rear seat belt mounts, an extra steel bar welded to rear chassis for the centre seat belt clip in the rear for more support, rather than relying on the alley floor, H/D front challenge wing kit, H/D front challenge winch bumper, supplied and fitted by North off road. Fully refurbished 12 t winch with new synthetic rope The new soft top was fitted by All Wheel Trim. Tracker seats fitted in the front. Late tracker forward facing rear seats. New series door bottoms with new locks and hinges supplied by Gigglepin. New purpose made door seals New alley door tops supplied by Rocky Mountain. Mantec spare wheel carrier with spare (new). New raptor centre dash. FM CB radio. New heavy duty lockable cubby box with 9"speakers and separate compartments and internal shelf. Croytec alloy gear box & transfer box gear knobs. New tinted front heated screen fully connected. New screen rubber. Late TD5 head fitted for more compression. Now circa 200BHP Broadfields stage 2 tune up with bigger inter cooler, Bell Auto Services VNT Bigger Vane Turbo. EGR removed. TD5 air booster box. K& N Performance filter. All silicon hoses. Southdown snorkel. Stainless steel big bore exhaust straight through supplied by Griffin . New balanced H/D clutch and solid fly wheel to take quick acceleration from Rake well. New 110 callipers and discs on front with green racing pads. Extended braided brake hoses supplied by Gwyn Lewis. Gwyn Lewis H/D Dan bars. Full Extreme suspension kit with 2"lift, full drop out. Extreme Competition gas shocks. Extreme competition gas return to centre steering damper. Gwyn Lewis H/D rear cranked trailing arms. Gwyn Lewis H/D front cranked radius arms. ARB Air locking diffs front and back. Ashcroft H/D shafts & CVS front. Ashcroft D/D shafts on rear. Ashcroft H/D drive flanges. Wide angle prop shafts front and back supplied by Bailey.
